Jason Wong is an eCommerce entrepreneur and custom packaging founder based in Hong Kong. He is the founder and CEO of Paking Duck, a custom packaging manufacturer that helps consumer brands build better packaging experiences. Paking Duck works with over 2,500 brands including Quest Nutrition, Vita Coco, and Venus et Fleur.
Before Paking Duck, Jason founded Doe Lashes, a direct-to-consumer beauty brand he started with $500. Doe Lashes grew to $15 million in sales within its first year and built a cult following among hundreds of thousands of customers through social media and influencer marketing.
Jason is also the founder of Pughaus, and an active angel investor through Wonghaus Ventures. His portfolio includes over 30 consumer brands and eCommerce technology companies including Triple Whale, Postscript, Beacons, Siena, and Fly By Jing.
His work focuses on the intersection of packaging, brand experience, and eCommerce growth. He writes about custom packaging as a growth lever for DTC brands, eCommerce operations, and lessons from building and investing in consumer companies.
